Individualised Education Planning for children with SEN

Prepare IEPs for learners with SEN using a problem-based approach

About this course

This course aims to enrich participants’ knowledge and practice of intervention planning based on the Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation (APIE) model, a framework which ensures that the interests of the child and all other stakeholders are factored into the process of intervention planning. Designed to help participants grow in their understanding of how to prepare Individual Education Plans (IEP) for one-to-one intervention with SEN learners, it takes a problem-based approach and will introduce practical strategies and tools to answer key questions that must be addressed at each stage of the IEP planning process.
