PARTNERING WITH NUS Mind Science Centre, National University Health System (NUHS) and Stroke Support Station (S3), The Age Well Everyday (AWE) programme is an innovative, holistic and evidence-based prevention programme for dementia that emphasises preventive medicine in the community, by the community, for the community. This structured programme encompassing Exercise, Mindfulness Practice, Music Reminiscence and Health Education and which can be delivered by volunteers, is designed to delay cognitive deterioration, reduce anxiety and depression, and increase socialization – thereby delaying the onset of dementia and improving the quality of life of seniors.
